Claudia and Julita prospects, Chile

The Claudia mine prospect, located 30km south-east of Copiacó city and covering an area of 13.7 km2, includes several small mine developments in a north-south structural system, over 1-2km wide. Its principal mineralisation consists of silver with minor copper and gold. Mine works ceased about 60 years ago. The mineralisation is related to hydrothermal facies in volcanic rocks, which present an excellent exploration target. It is necessary to conduct future geological studies towards identifying drilling targets.

Chilean Copper ProjectsThe Julita mine prospect is located in Copiapó province in the Atacama Region of Chile. The prospect area covering 4.91 km2 includes several small pits developed on vein structures carrying copper mineralisation. Also nearby is the Galleguillos gold mine.

These two prospects are of lower exploration priority. Rey intends to advance exploration on a contract basis with local miners in Copiapó.
